          I’ve lived in the darkest corners of myself for so long that I believed it was my home. Longing for the rage and having faith in its harsh hold. I understand, now, that I don’t know my angels, but I certainly know my demons…
        Hold them tight.
        The demons, the fears, the rage, the hurt, the betrayal, the cold… they need to be held just as tightly as they have a hold over you. I don’t know what it looks like yet, but I am finding the parts of myself that don’t feel the need to hide anymore. Meet each heartache with compassion, grace, and understanding you’d show a respected loved one. Greet the darkness with open arms and listen to it.
        I may not know my angels, but I am finally working with my demons…
