Back Story:

I created this piece using a layered effect, also utilizing the opacity that is achieved with acrylics. I find beauty in the dark and strange, this piece is meant to capture the way I see the macabre. There is a beauty that lingers in what was and what remains. The mystery of the dark and strange is alluring, and this is one of many examples of my appreciation for the things that most would find disturbing.
