Back Story:

This piece was made to explore a few of the things I have recently found to love and enjoy. My artistic process has taken a new journey, one of texture and self-expression. A subject that has been recurring in my work has been the raven and crow, a symbol that to me means transformation, new beginnings, adaptability, and the death of the previous chapter. This isn't a bad symbol in my life, nor in my work, the raven and crow have carried me into new chapters of my life and in my practice as an artist. This piece is a dedication to their energy and beauty, which speaks so deeply to me and my work.
