Back Story:
-The Spider weaves together its home, as do I. We gather our intricate beauty and dwell in our creations. Think not of the outcome of the work, like the Spider, think only of how the creation may serve you. – (Inspiration)
The spider wanders slowly, cautiously, to the corner of the artists studio. Stopping, briefly, with sound, movement, or vibration. Darting to the shadows of a bookcase, the spider moves swiftly, shooting for the corner of the studio.
“Look up, it’s enough.” The artist insists. The spider halts, turning slightly to see the artist frustrated and grabbing a canvas. A year of sitting in a studio stuck, overwhelmed by the pursuit of perfection in her work, in tears questioning her worth daily. Frustrated, tearing at her nails and cursing at her own disappointments. For too long now, she’d been losing her mind. Nothing is ever enough. No idea moving enough. No colors vivid enough. No subject impactful enough.
“Just look directly in front of you and paint it.” She asserted onto herself again. The spider watched as self-assured control was placed into her hands, comfort approached her with a swift thought: look up, appreciate what surrounds you, focus solely on what brings you peace. With that, the spider and the artist gathered themselves and began to work.
