Mental Crossfire

I feel that this woman is struggling with an emotional battleground, her gaze is both brave and lost, yet she fights. It seems she is stuck somewhere between thoughts, of equal value and emotional impact, with no compromise. An endless cycle of mental crossfire, the source of both her beauty and her end. If only she could calm the storm and call off the attack, she could release her gaze and be content in the present.
