Restraint

This piece was meant to explore the different techniques that I have enjoyed along my journey. I wanted to play with each medium I adore and experiment with what they offered the piece. I have wanted to incorporate more textile elements to my art for quite some time, and with my pre-existing love for accent lines, it only made sense to try embroidery in the final composition.  This piece told me the story of holding oneself at bay and keeping oneself in check.
