The Missing Puzzle Piece

This piece is a memorial of a wonderful man that has left this world. Alan Hawkins, the stepfather of the artist Morgan Dingman, has passed away and has left his mark on the world. This piece shows the twenty first birthday that Al was never able to attend, after planning on the party for many years. The portrayal of emotion is raw and deliberate, wanting the audience to be able to see the grief, anger, and chaos upon viewing. 18"x24" transfer and acrylic on canvas.  (Original, not a print)
